I am looking so forward to getting out and enjoying the warmth of the sun and some of the wonderful weather we have here.
There is so much to do here. There are beautiful trails to hike. Too many waterfalls to list. The wineries open up and bring in live bands. The coast warms up. It all makes for a great motorcycle ride. And there is so much more.
I know a lot of people enjoy a cold beer, but I am looking forward to the summer cocktails with fresh fruit. A nice cold wine spritzer with some berries or a slice of orange can be so rewarding after a long hike. I like to make Margatinis. A simple made by pouring tequila and fresh lime juice over ice. Shaken then strained into a martini glass for a delicious summer drink.
And of course the best part of Summer is that special someone to share it with. To go play in the woods with, lounge by the river with, and even to spend those quiet nights at home with.
I like to think that I am a renaissance man, that I am well balanced. I have been told that I am a geek. I dont see it. I do like to have fun and be silly. I am really smart and can be too logical sometimes. I do have emotions. I get happy, and I get sad, but I get over it and move on. I think that is.I have had the same great job for almost 20 years now, so I must be doing something right.
I love to ride my motorcycle, but I am not a biker. I like to drink socially and share good times with friends and family. I get a lot of satisfaction from building and fixing things myself.
I exercise 4-5 times a week. I dont work out hard anymore, I am just trying to maintain a decent level of fitness. I am eating better trying to make more of the meals I eat and get less processed foods.
