I had wondered if such a long time and such a drastic change in a few things might have tilted lady luck in my favor regarding any potential at mutual attraction, but it seems as though that wasn't the case. If only our paths had crossed at slightly skewed angles, things might have been different; maybe you would have been the one crushing on me all those years ago and still giddy with every moment spent together even all this time later.
